Listen!!!
Listen, do you hear the whisper in your ear?
Do not be alarmed, no, do not fear.
No you are not crazy or going mad.
It is the Lord trying to get your attention, so just be glad.
You cannot put Him in a box, of who you think He is.
He will never lead you astray, but He may cause you to giggle and say gee whiz.
He has such a sense of humor and He is playful too.
He wants to lift you up on those days you are feeling down and blue.
He whispers in your ear, you are My child.
He wants to keep you safe and undefiled.
So when you hear your name and not a soul is in sight.
It is the Lord wanting your attention, so against Him do not fight.
He just wants to spend some time with you as well.
So go on, what do you have to lose, I won't tell.
