 THE LADY IN WHITE ( Unrhyming Couplet)

~The Lady In White~
(Unrhyming Couplets)

It's late evening,
The Sun dying is going down,

It's getting so dark all over the land,
And up there too, in that old castle

Upon the cliffs facing the sea.
Silence, had fallen within,

Filling with mistery all the endless
Halls and emptied rooms

A pin dropped could had been heard,
Falling across over the majestic and oversized rooms;

But then of sudden a piano sad note,
Can be heard sometimes, sneaking in

The wind outside with the high waves
Rises and lashes,

Starting a painful howling like a
Mortal and wounded beast,

The forbidden castle itself, from its
Very foundation seems to shake,

Within the castle's walls now,
A beautiful girl is always there,

Wearing a long and snow white dress
Pensive, stares at nothing and everything;

Sorrows untold showed her face,
Fearful were, her eyes so sad,

In the semi-lit big and beautiful room
Holding again her glowing candle;

Like a torch or flaming sword,
She starts to walk all through the

Emptied and endless rooms and ancient halls,
There, in that forgotten and forbidden place,

That once she had loved so much
But now, she's doomed to live there forever;

She's inprisioned, she's a trapped soul,
In that very huge and cold mass of only stones,

There in that old castle she is now
Just a ghost!
