 Reflections of Judy

Yesterday's Child

We danced in the rain, we were wild,
The sun looked down on us and smiled.
We played with fire and felt the flame,
We lived life like it was game.
We were wild; we were yesterday's child.
    We chased fireflies,
 Made love until the sunrise,
We ran from the war's pain,
Reached for the stars,
In the back seat of old cars,
I was a tiger wild
You captured me when you smiled,
We were yesterday's child
