Weeping Willow
You bow down weeping willow
And shed your tears on the earth's pillow,
There is a soft cry in the breeze.
Men come to you to find their peace.
You've heard their prayer, and felt their tears,
You've heard dreams, and felt their fears.
Somehow you give men ease,
Men come to you to find their peace.
The wild birds often bellow,
Secrets of a lonely heart and soul.
Only you could know.
Maybe you've heard the wind whisper a hello
And you wish you could go,
You stand alone so close to the meadow.
As the wind gently blows your leaves,
Men come to you to find their peace.
You bow down weeping willow,
And shed your tears on earth's pillow.
