 A New Woman

English Tea

Loved to sit and chill.
Then you had to go away and it made me ill.
Did nothing just sat down as still as still can be still.
Hated it when we had to kiss goodbye to best.
I like having you as a friend and i wish you were my best friend again it really put me to the test.
That in life even the friends have to go that you love best.
I really miss your Grandma's English tea.
Missed the games and the secret trends we made that had to fade and we just let it be.
The bows the prayers and little things we said.
I loved the English tea your granddad attempted to make and the time the noise was dead.
I missed the times so much I'll die.
I wish you were my best friend again and that is no lie.
i miss you too much i need you now or i will die.
I crave that cup of English tea.
Until you come back I'll hold on strong and let it be
