SOUL TRAPPED
Trapped inside this shell,
My soul it has to dwell,
Sacrificed to life on earth,
Till I die from day of birth.
Oh to ride the sky's again,
To be a soul who's free from pain,
To come and go at my delight,
Sit with God with all his might.
Soaring through the clouds so high,
Whilst watching mountains passing bye,
In the light that's filled with love,
That only comes from up above.
I ride the storms of life again,
For here my soul has been detained,
But when its time for me to go,
The body dies to let me know.
Until that day I stay in limbo,
Learning from this earths life show,
Passing through the years of time,
Refining life to make it fine.
Come the day my life is done,
Then I'll lay down my fathers son,
To the stars my soul will go,
From that day on then who can know.
