Are You Far
Could I reach you
My love, by sea?
Or would the tides
Come to hinder me?
Could I dive in
Swim to your shore?
Or would I be lost
In eyes of a storm?
Could I soar
My love, through the sky?
Or would I be caught
By clouds passing by?
Should I travel by day?
Or journey by night?
In hopes that a moonbeam
May offer a ride?
Could I venture
My love, through a glen?
Or would trees be a maze
To confine me again?
Would long blades of grass
Make my footstep slow?
Would a wildflowers temptation
Lure me not to go?
I simply must ask you
My love, are you far?
For my heart longs to be
Wherever you are...
