Please Come Home, AgainPlease come home again, into my life, I want to be your love, your wife. All these many years I spent with you, Were all my dreams, inside of myself too. You treated me so kindly, and with such great respect, You are such a gentleman and do not neglect, Us, as a couple and both individual, You whisper sweet nothings in my ear, oh so sensual. We walk hand in hand on the beach, I look deeply into your eyes and your lips, I do reach. I love your hugs and your warm touch, I miss you so, and want you so much. I'm looking for you, to share memories with me, Where are you my love? Hurry, come to me please. Do you want the same things as I? Do you promise to love me before you die? I will patiently wait right here, for you when I close my eyes tonight, to sleep, you will come home again. Debra McGee Trammell 11-8-04 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
