Part Of Me
Part of me will always be with you
behind the closed doors that are locked
I release, you release but still something remains
I have felt you in all my roads of travel
and seen you at every crossroad
we long...but we never touch
just why is that? Is it safer or better?
not for my heart but my mind knows better
it's lead me away from some wrecks
but sometimes it prevents me from the dance
I just know my world would catch fire
in good and not so good ways
the price to play, is it worth all that is at stake?
part of me thinks so....part of me wants that chance
all lives change in a moment, all dreams deserve an ending.
