MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER

Here I lay all alone
thinking about how much you've grown
You're getting so big your almost two
I will never forget the first time I held you
There's a big empty feeling in my heart
because we are so far apart
It was so hard to have to say goodbye
Remembering those curls and those big brown eyes
Lately I've been feeling really sad
Because I'm scared you'll forget who's your dad
But I'll never forget my little girl
the greatest thing in this big world
If I had one wish know what it would be
For you to come down and live with me
It's only what any real dad would say
But I know your mom would say "no way"
If there was a way your mom and I could share
I would show you how much I care
I'm sorry I left you it wasn't what I planned
someday I hope you will understand
I never missed anyone so much , not ever!
You will be a part of me forever and ever
I'll come back I just don't know when
I just have to keep missing you till then
I'm starting to cry, like running  water
because I love and miss my precious daughter
