Forget

Forget your voice, the touch of your hand.
Forget the way you seemed to understand.
Forget the laughs, the smiles we shared.
Forget that you said you cared.
Forget the early morning hellos, the late night goodbyes.
Forget all you said, forget all the lies.
Forget the tears I cried for you
Forget eveerything you said you'd do.

Forget you words, they were never true.
Forget the way I looked at you.
Forget he miles crossed to be by your side.
Forget the feelings I tried to hide.
Forget your smile, the feel of your hair
Forget ever wishing I could be there.
Forget the way I felt  the first time we kissed.
Forget everything I said I missed.
Forget the fireworks up in the sky.
Forget never wanting to say goodbye.

Forget the very thought of you and me.
Forget that you were the one who held the key.
Forget the thought of us being together
Forget ever thinking we'd last forever.
