Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Alive

My van won't start,
And I haven't the money to fix it.

I've quit smoking cigarettes with
Dangerous mood swings.

                    I'm bloated for my period.

Mom talks of bringing home
          Strange man for thanksgiving.

          I'm jobless and
I've no money.

                    I have no significant other.

My head, jaws, and eyes ache
          And I'm constantly exhausted.

I'm not doing as good as
I could be doing in school.

                    I'm always alone.

My dad lives elsewhere,
          As does my brother.

          Sometimes I cry myself sick
And think of sad things.

But it's still great to be alive!
