A Cage To Hold My Dreams

Contradictions

To she who pains me I say 'yes'
who wants me I say 'no'
Pain me, I become obsessed,
need, and off I'll go.
Whomever leaves me I adore
but those who stay I hurt,
kick and hear me beg for more,
love and I'll desert.
Between the cradle and the grave
we crave the things we mustn't.
A man will want what he can't have,
and what he can, he doesn't.
