Goodbye On Paper
I couldn't make myself call you
This pen seems glued to my hand
these words I'm putting on paper
I hope that you understand
I couldn't face being next to you
thats why I'm writing each word
Pulled from a heart that is breaking
there's no voice left to be heard.
So read this letter my Darling
it ends with a simple goodbye
One sided love doesn't work Dear
I'm so tired of your alibi.
Too many long nights without you
alone in our King size bed
I was so afraid that I'd lose you
but I let my fears go unsaid.
Maybe I'll always love you
or it could just turn into hate
I hoped one day it would be different
but I'm no longer willing to wait.
I realized your not worth it
I'm better than that can't you see
So goodbye now and forever
its time I thought about me.
