Santa's MiracleA little boy on Santa's knee said that he'd been good he asked for little trucks and cars like any little boy would. As he left Santa's lap he stopped and turned around He said would you visit my sister in a hospitals where she's found. The Dad explained to Santa that cancer as taken its toll and to see that jolly man in red was her only goal. Santa made that heartfelt trip never having a single doubt as her family stood around her ho ho ho he began to shout. That little girl so excited told Santa she'd been good The Doctor's said she wouldn't make it but her family prayed she would. Santa asked the little girl in Angels do you believe she said yes of course I do with an Angel I'll surely leave. Santa began to pray in earnest for this precious little one send a miracle this Christmas before the night is done. Santa hugged that little girl tears streaming down his face with thank you's from her family Santa turned and left this place. One year later Santa had a visitor a little girl sat upon his knee She said Santa you came to the hospital do you remember me. Tears began to fill his eyes she said the Angels let me stay because Santa you asked for a miracle for me that Christmas day. by Debbie I wrote this after reading a very sad story, about a Santa that worked at a mall each Christmas,It's not identical to the original story, but I think it will still touch your heart. Miracle's do happen my friends. Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
