A Chance....And A Rebirth
It's almost the end and a new beginning
a time of reflection and a time of planning
a time for hope and excitement
because we are still alive and we get to ring in the new year!
it's time for wishes and new dreams to be born
a time to stop for just a moment
to remember the ones we lost and carry the torch on
it's time for family get togethers to reconnect
to people we sometimes just see in a picture frame
or occasionally talk on the phone to....
it's that time when we say hi and happy holidays
to complete strangers who we normally just breeze by
for some of us we suddenly remember the less fourante
and drop in our change to the ringing bell
and than rush in the department store to catch all the sales
but we all look forward to a brand new year
it's a clean slate, just maybe our dream will come true
just maybe we will find a true love
just maybe all will be forgiven....
each year is a chance and a rebirth
that is why the new year just feels so good!
