M's Poetry
Conclusion
We are gonna win....get through this at all costs
we are gonna stick together
the rainbow is just around the corner
I know it seems dark but I am with you always
I may be a little crazy but you know how I feel about you
I can see you sad and taste your tears
know you have those nightmares but you always got your prayers
You and me that's all I got
and if it should ever stop
and you are no longer along for the ride
crying don't even scratch the surface
of the pain and longing I will feel when you are gone
Choices lead to destiny and you are what I chose
baby it's a rough patch but my heart will always stay centered
giving you the attention and 110% of the very fiber of my being
I wish I could make you smile and laugh
like it used to be in the past
but that picture has disappeared in a mass full of debris
I am fighting to stay a float and try as you might
I am holding you above the frigid waters right there with me
waiting for a life jacket
to resuscitate this ailing complicated relationship
but will it ever come? Or are we just doomed?
Is it denial or pride that will keep us alive?.....
