At this point I find it best not to breathe
So suprised to find myself here where I thought I would never be
With this sky above and below I hold my own
Not letting go of what I have and have ever known
But taking in what I see
Absorbing all I'm as close to heaven as I will ever be
Knowing this I stop and think of where I've been
I've seen alot but I know this is as close to heaven I will ever be again
Yet it seems so cold with the ice beneath my feet
I find myself alone here with only my hopes and dreams
Still so far to go down the road I have yet to live
I hope to remember this moment forever still....
If only I could spread my wings and fly
I have reached my peak and there is only one way down but why
Yet on this course that is set I pause and reminisce
I know I will never get to be as close to heaven again as this
