This verse composition though quite simple
Was written amidst hectic schedule and tribulations;
I lived with you for almost eight years, grandma,
And those were the moments I considered full of life, challenging.
My son and I, although multitude of miles away from where
you are,
Will always be indebted for the kind of a person you were;
We probably didn't have the chance to divulge how we cared,
But deep in our hearts, you know how my siblings and I feel
for you.
I once joked I wouldn't miss you anyway,
Especially now that I am the mother of a wonderful young
boy;
But I grieve so much now that you're gone,
Rest in peace, lola, and thanks a whole lot for everything.
