INK, PEN AND PAPER
The ink danced with the pen,
paper became the dance floor.
Music from the muse did blend,
each step in a rhythmic score.
A word fell from each turn,
as the dancers danced in unison.
Broken sentences lay in stern,
revealing thoughts, tripped upon.
The ink and pen then scattered,
the words into their rightful places.
When it was done, what mattered,
was the poetry that filled the spaces.
Some were happy, some were sad,
some filled with love and devotion.
Some frivolous and some bad,
but all heartfelt, poetic emotion.
