Such peacefulness I feel when near you -
Tender and passionate too,
I've searched my whole life over
to find what lies within you.
Your shoulder is by far my favorite place
And I long for the taste of your kiss,
The minute you leave my door
I find your smile is so truly missed….
Thoughts of the gentle touch of your hands
As they caress my heated skin,
Sends a flurry of tingles clean through me
And I can barely wait to hold you again…
Far more than a lover,
You're a “one-in-a-million” gem –
Bringing what this soul has missed,
And a genuinely happy friend.
I thanked God for you today-
For He knew the things I need,
your smile turned a light on within my world
and your heart allowed me to breathe.
