at dawn a dewy breeze arose in the garden
sending fragrance of dancing flowers in air
the essence rapture with wings seeds flying
offspring of the maple tree spin every where
colorful warbles arrive add to spring songs
while nesting in the lush green trees
showy butterflies with vibrant wings of color
perch on blossoms that sway in the breeze
a show of nature makes a serene setting
it's special after enduring the cold winters rage
birds singing, bees humming, insects buzzing
and butterflies winging colors set the stage
they have a social gathering
sipping nectar from the sweet flowers
opening and closing their wings sensually
enjoying the need for energy power
tasting the air with antennas
birds watch the jewels sparkle in flight
daisies enjoy the tender touch
from the butterflies a spring delight
