...Dr Martin Luther King...A Tribute To... Dr Martin Luther King Jnr It was in the 1960's! Things were really bad, Especially if, you had black skin, Those times were really sad. Can't speak to any white people! Or else you're shunned away, Not allowed to eat in diners, But whites can and its ok! Well I think it's so unfair! Anger, hate and discrimination, Who's got the right to turn away? And hold banners at demonstration? Apart from the colour of our skins! We really are the same, Hearts, lungs, kidneys and such, Discrimination is such a shame. Now Martin Luther King! Was a very famous man! Fought hard fro his beliefs! And I really am a fan. Things were pretty heated! He believed in civil rights! Not just colour, but religion too, But there were hateful anguished fights. Dr Martin Luther King! His presence strongly felt! Is someone that I wont forget? It hit home with a belt. This very feeling man! Fought for equal rights for all, Stood his ground, didn't back down, But sadly he took a fall. Standing on a balcony! One sunny afternoon, He was assassinated, Fell to the ground with a swoon. He didn't work in vain!
