Heal the wounds of yesterday
As daddy's ghost
Touches my brow
Being captivated by the result
And the pains that were
Try to mend the memories
That drip with cold nostalgia
I walk through the trauma that was
While sullen thoughts
Carry me away
Tear drops gently nestle my cheek
And stain my pillow
With salty anguish
