The Holiday's OverPeace has rushed quickly Out through the door, And left me inside With ear piercing roar. It echoes my eardrums And pounds on my heart, Then punches my head And cuts me so sharp. The holiday's over. They suffocate strong And zap all my strength And are not still for long. They chatter together, Don't listen or hear And think they're the centre Of the whole hemisphere, I love them and hate them And want them to grow, But just a bit quieter And a little more slow.
