A Little Girls Question
What does the U.S. look like
the little girl ask her Dad
He was trying to read a magazine
and getting a trifle mad
She said, they talk about it
whenever I watch TV
Oh can I see a picture
please Daddy let me see
He was tired and cranky
wanting to read and rest
But his darling little daughter
was being a little pest
The cover was the U.S.
so he quickly tore it out
Then tore it into pieces
a plan there was no doubt
Take these pieces to your room
its a puzzle my little tyke
When you put it all together
thats what our Country looks like
Leaning back in his easy chair
saying this should take awhile
Thinking now he had some time
he broke into a smile
But in a few short minutes
she handed him the map
It was put together perfectly
and he didn't get a nap
She accomplished that so quickly
it took him by surprise
When he heard her explanation
there were tears in his eyes
She said Dad it was easy
Jesus was on the other side
He looked at his little girl
an his heart filled with pride
I put Jesus where He belonged
see it didn't take me forever
But it was like a miracle
He brought the U.S. all together
