take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever felt happy?
So happy that nothing matters anymore?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever met someone?
Someone who makes your heart stop?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever been in love?
So much in love you feel on top of the world?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever felt invisible?
So invisible that nothing will go wrong?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever been lied to?
Lied to so bad you don't know what's true?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever been hurt?
Hurt so bad that it never heals?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever had your heart broken?
Torn from your chest and thrown to the ground?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever been lost?
So lost no one knows your gone?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever cried?
Cried so hard you drown in your own tears?
Take a walk in my shoes
Have you ever wanted to die?
To crawl in a coffin and be buried six feet under?
Take a walk in my shoes.
