things I have been thinking about

The Most Beautiful

I believe,
I have seen,
the most beautiful woman in the world.
And, I walked right past her,
As if I was Jupiter,
and she was Saturn's only moon.
I turned to look,
and she kept walking,
walking away in my galaxy.
She was perfect.
Like nature too, I stared at her for a long time.
Too long.
The sun has to eventually turn.
When she was almost out of view,
Earth shook and she looked at me.
We dove deep into each other's eyes,
and stars struck,
black holes, like pupils, can collide,
but neither of us could move or try.
It felt like one of those dreams,
with something wrong.
The moment of love had taken us on,
but we couldn't face it,
we didn't belong,
we heard it singing itself into another sad song.
We both went our way back to our own dives,
her to there, me along the sky.
If only she would have been mine,
I'd be the Universe,
the handsomest man alive.
