What do you say to friends?
You never seen before yet they're until the end
Standing in the midst in mine fields and grenades,
What do you say to someone giving his or her all for you?
Someone they never seen or barely knew.
How and where do you begin to define such an act of love?
You can start by acknowledging their courage surely from above
Be Thankful for these soldiers in the battle!
Pray for their safety honor them without criticisms and quarrels,
Do you realized what it takes for such a courageous act
Out in a strange and far away land with backpacks,
Willing to fight and protect with all they have,
Giving all they've got even their lives in fact!
What do you say to such friends how do you give back?
How on earth can you ever express your gratitude?
In the only way you can or at least should,
In a very Thankful and Grateful attitude
And go out your way making sure,
You let them know you're proud!
To stand by them best you know how
Keeping them in your prayers,
They are the true heroes facing dangers,
Against all odds standing firm and strong
Giving their all for freedom abroad or at home,
How do you say and where do you start?
Be Thankful to God for such loving friends,
Never forget all they have given
Many scars will never mend!
Honor them with more then medals
Be there for them have compassion,
Don't make them beg for health care and medical
Let them come home to their friends for whom they battled
More than soldiers and heroes they are all angels.
