Here I Am

Here I am...
Stepping out with my heart in my hand
Hoping and praying that
God sent this man.

Here I am...
Full of smiles, anxiously waiting 'till I see him again,
Longing to look into his eyes
and here his lips call out my name.

Here I am...
thinking about all the things we will do,
I hope this star never dims one day for me or you.

Here I am...
Once again ready to give all that I've got,
For to have, if only a day, is better than to have not...
