To My Soldier
I love to put my arms around you,
I love it when you're near.
God I wish that you were home,
I really need you here.
I miss being playful,
wrestling each other to the ground.
Hearing your exploding laughter,
how I really love that sound.
I love to see the dimples,
that embellish your handsome face.
And how when we're finished playing,
I'd get lost in your embrace.
I just want you to know,
how much I love having you around.
How much I miss your laughter,
That joyous happy sound.
