Am I What You Think I Am?What do you perceive me to be then? Can you see inside my head? When you read what's written here… And of everything I have said! Can you ever be sure, can you? Of what I'm portraying myself to you! To be something that I am, or am not! How can you tell of me, what's true? People pretend to be something they're not, But with me, I guess that's not true… Because all you read, is as it is… My words and feelings coming through! I won't pretend to be something I'm not! That is not my way, not at all! For all that is are lies and untruths, And it will cause you to take a fall! You have to be yourself in life! And stay as true as true can be! And not hide the way you are! Always be honest and true, like me! I'll never portray myself to be anything… Anything that isn't true of me! For I am happy with all I am… The truth will always set me free! The way I am, is the way I am, Be that either bad…or good… Because all I really care about, Is that I live a life that I should! I make my life as good as I can, And will take the stand on any ground, If that's needed I stand up tall to defend! And my strength will surely be found! For I am one who won't walk away! In any given situation that's wrong! I stand my ground, won't back down! Because I can, because I'm strong! What you get, is what you see… And what you see, is little old me!
