Love Me
Miles and distance is a formality
the heart extends beyond any circumstance
it's never easy but it won't always be this hard
I promise you love, the rest is just side notes
I won't give up as long as you don't
and I have been around enough to know
when to stand up and fight
fight for love..... when it is right
maybe you truly never know
but what is happiness with taking a chance?
I have been burned and saddened
but that has dissipated into another sunset
I walk and talk differently now
and baby it's all cuz of you
the confidence I exude
you put there with faith and tenderness
and over time a sense of urgency
has exploded to tell you what I really never have said yet
I am in love with you even if only in my dreams and chats
the greatest anticipations sometimes are never fulfilled
but it doesn't keep me from wanting them
for now it stays between all these lines
one day though I have the hope that all will be out in the open
and finally everything will be exactly right and fine.
