I'm Going To Beat This Pain Thing!I am going to beat this pain thing myself! I'm tougher than anyone can ever know! For here I am...I am the Phoenix!!! And to spiral higher is the only way to go! Because no matter what, I rise again! And get stronger and stronger that's true! And I will forever continue to do so!!! For it's the very least that I can do! I will lose this awful addiction! Before it claims another like before! Because I am tougher than tough! And I am walking through another door! So I refuse to take these tablets of mine! Until I'm as desperate as only I know! For I still have a future to live! And I am not prepared to let my life go! So rather deal with the pain the way I do! Than to live in the foggy mire of addiction! I have to live this life I have to my best! For I won't be beaten by this affliction! I will tolerate the pain to the best I can! And bend and sway as only I can do! To bend with the wind and sway to the breeze, Keeps us strong and helps us come through! I will come off these meds! I will! Because I will not be another victim! There is no choice they told me! But there is! And I won't live with addiction! I will make it thru, oh yes, but I will! Because I see the door to my future bright! My strength will surpass all it needs me too!
