Revelation
The whole world comes crashing
Round the edges of your feet
I stop and watch the devastation
Listening to a low pitched beat
Perhaps now would be the time
For my soul to reveal
Do you now panic at the thought?
That you would be caught
In bright sunlight
Exposed!
Shown to be
Who?
Are you so scared of what you are
The character you have created is yours
So why hide from the world
In shame and disgust
If you were anyone of consequence
You would show yourself to the world
Be one of many like you
So what is stopping you????
So come on
Show us what you are
You have hidden well so far
Yet the cracks are wide open
And you are seen from those without
Now perhaps you can scream and shout
There is nothing now you can do
There is no power left to you
For nothing will prevent it from coming through
All things in time will be revealed about you
Stripped naked and shown to the world
So? Do you think we would really care?
Do you think you are the only one?
Do you really think you are that special?
That you are in this alone
Well get to grips!
Get your head from behind that door
For this world is sick
There is nothing, no trick
That this world has not seen before
So now show yourself
Are you so afraid?
We want to know the real you
