TURKEY, CHICKEN
I am a turkey you are a chicken,
before it begins, must it end?
Yes with a gobble I am here to stay,
but with a squawk you will run away.
For like a bird that can't fly,
or a nightmare that won't die.
I want to stay right here,
but not to go you won't dare.
Without taking a chance,
away you will dance.
Singing love is not for you,
that it is never true.
Believe what has been said,
that love will make a heart dead.
Go ahead and run,
think love isn't fun.
Be lonely every day,
do it the chicken way.
Yes, I am a turkey this is easy to see,
but when it comes to love, a chicken I will never be.
