A NEW HEART~~~
A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting
Some things Just Come~~~~
This is one of those~~~~~
A new heart I will give you,
And a new spirit I will put within you.
Thus saith the Lord:
Heavenly Father, Cleanse with living water
This unclean soul; a lustful wanderer.
Look not upon my wantonness,
Lest You should see my great distress.
Lord, in my filthy, tattered rags I come
A worm of such a despicable home
Only Your Word can save such a wretch
Guide me through this mountainous stretch.
This broken heart needs to be renewed,
Its sinfulness must be eschewed.
A BRAND NEW HEART I sorely need,
Please hasten that heart with all God-Speed.
Pour out Your Holy Spirit Sure,
Fill to overflowing with Love so Pure,
Bring this poor, hapless sinner home,
Enthuse me nevermore to roam.
Grant me Your Grace, that I might be
More worthy in Your Sight, I plead,
Embrace my soul, let me atone,
So I may never walk this land alone.
My all I lay at Jesus' Feet,
His Death upon the Cross did complete,
This wanton, sinful soul set free,
To ever walk and talk with Thee.
