And So He Ran…And Ran!Out of the darkness, into the light, Now the path of life is his choice, A choice that will be his and his alone, No longer afraid to use his voice! And now when I see his happy face, I know that he did the right thing, And to see the look within those eyes, Well, it makes a person's heart sing! And never will he shed hurtful tears, For he is now fulfilled with a life! A life of happiness and goodness! No more the harshness of a hurtful life. Abuse, there is no excuse for abuse, For behaving in that manner so cruel, For beating and punching a child…! That's not a man, that's a weak fool! So throw off your fears and torment, And make that life you deserve good and true! For no-one can make that choice for you! It's something only you can do! ...He Did...
