Oh So Softly

Crying
Oh so softly
A drizzle upon my ears
How I wish we could be together
How it hurts not to have you near
Almost everyday I think of you
That simple smile, Eyes of green
Reality gripping,
Tearing My heart to shreds
I feel Alone
Life isn't fair
So they say
Faltering I fall down
Slowly at first
Gaining speed at last
Until I land
Alone, Aching
Oh how it hurts
I have to be alone.
