No one Knows
I can't hide behind a fake smile anymore,
No longer can I hold back my tears,
I've felt like this for so many years,
I can't stand it, I can't live it out any more.
Stress builds up day after day,
Problems build upon,
And just won't go away,
No one realizes, no one can see.
No one knows how I feel,
They don't know the pain,
I wonder if it'll ever heal,
I'm slowly going insane.
It just doesn't stop and I cannot fight,
Nothing in this life ever seems right,
Friends betray me, family hates me,
No one will ever let me be
I am your friend, in need of advice,
I am your lover, in need of love,
Except I'm not the one you're thinking of…
I am simply your friend wishing you were there
