Known you for too long but never really knew how I felt about you till it was almost too late. I wrote you letters but you never wrote back and I gave you my numbers but you never called me. At that time, I thought I'd lost you forever.
When I found out you were headed to the Navy oh how it broke my little red beating heart. It just about killed me but somehow I knew that you would be just fine. Before you walked out the door I told you I missed you as you gently hugged me. You told me you missed me too.
Six months later down the road, I got a phone call and it was you. So happy I was to hear your fine voice, I was grinning from ear to ear. When I started getting your phone calls all the time, it just made me that much happier. I love you.
Only if you knew the tears I've cried over you for all that time that you've been gone and come back home and left again. Only if you knew the tears I've cried for when I longed to hold you by myside. You mean so much to me and still I cry these tears when I wish that you were here. 4/25/05
