Your Attempt

The clouds begin to hold their rain
And you attempt to walk in here whole-
Blindfolded- like a generic love,
“Destined” to the very corners of my soul
When your interest was only
To pleasure the aroma of your arrival
And not even see-
What's happening
My strength is keeping-
You back
On the other side of this cracked-
Window
…my un-preparation for this time
Can shatter these walls
And I find-
It is so,
That windows are everywhere
But you chose
To trespass in this way
And now,
When I vow,
Your evidence will be all around-
And this window will be cracked,
But unbroken it remains
