The great depression
Soaring Eagle
The spirit of my heart
I feeling unexplainably hard
I cry at night
I guess its cause I'm sad or all isn't right
the eagle that once soared freely and proudly
Now hides itself behind the clouds
ashamed to show its face
God still hasn't revealed its place
all it can do his shield itself from the world
Now corrupted and destroyed from the inside out
Every one looks down on it with great doubt
Doubting its ability and strength
Saying its nothing special constantly doubting it
but yet it puts up with the constant bull s***
fighting off the pain and games
it still sings
proudly, standing tall
among all
I feeling unexplainably hard
I cry at night
I guess its cause I'm sad or all isn't right
the eagle that once soared freely and proudly
Now hides itself behind the clouds
ashamed to show its face
God still hasn't revealed its place
all it can do his shield itself from the world
Now corrupted and destroyed from the inside out
Every one looks down on it with great doubt
Doubting its ability and strength
Saying its nothing special constantly doubting it
but yet it puts up with the constant bull s***
fighting off the pain and games
it still sings
proudly, standing tall
among all
