I love him to death and that's no lie. He's always been here for me no matter what but one day something happened to him and although he didn't say a word, I knew it by the look in his eyes. I didn't say a word but my heart wanted to cry.
He was as white as a sheet and finally I said "you need to go to the doctor" but he refused. He picked me up from college and he didn't say a word, I knew something was wrong cuz it just didn't seem like grandpa not to talk at all.
When grandma came home she said "lets get up and go" as she said "Ashley, we're going to the doctor, be back soon". So they left and I was all alone, but I'm 19, I'll be just fine. Brother was here on the internet when grandma finally called.
They were in the hospital at Sandhills Regional in Hamlet. Didn't know what to do nor what could I say. I just told her ok. I asked if he was alright, she said he'll be fine. Didn't won't to lose him as I prayed for him so.
I seen grandpa today and he's doing a lot better. Thank the Lord that he is. He means a lot to me and always will. I love my grandpa as much as he loves me and if I ever lost him, I'd die of a broken heart and then I would leave.
Please pray for grandpa if you're reading this. I thank you for your thoughts and prayers, your kindness and your deeds. Please take care and I love you all so, I'll happily pray for you also. 4/29/05
