Tsunami
It's a beautiful day in Thailand,
the sun is shinning bright.
The sky is of the bluest color,
there isn't a cloud in sight.
The beautiful white sandy beaches,
where people lay basking in the sun.
Families are all together,
children playing in the sand having fun.
I look out across the ocean,
from the hotel in which I stay.
I can't believe what I am seeing,
it's an enormous tidal wave!!
The wave moves as fast as a jet,
picking up everything in sight.
"Oh God the people on the beaches,
I hope they will be all right."
I watch helplessly as the water rises,
it moves quickly toward my hotel.
The wave takes everything with it,
I can do nothing but scream and yell.
Terror and Death all around me,
everything is sucked back out to sea.
This was a place of peace and serenity,
until the day of this horrific Tsunami.
