ALONE IN DARKNESS (Free Verse)
~Alone In Darkness~
(Free Verse)
Around, all around,
The sinister creatures
Gather
My dread grows as the
Dark one's touch
Falls against my heart
It wounds me,
And darkly my life's
Blood drips...
To the cold, uncaring
Tombstones.
In agony I try to run
While my doom
Takes me
Now alone,
My love falls upon
darkened eyes
This's my doom.
The light falls in a heavy,
Soffocating cloak.
Cold and alone
Are we
The light which you
Lust
Flares once more, then dies
Devoured by the
All-emcompassing
Dark.
All hope must sicken and die
Your passion throbs no
More.
How could you leave me?
Shadows surround us,
Crying,
We have lost our way...
The night with a silent sigh,
Entwined are we.
The light for which you pine
Flares once, then dies
Swallowed by a velvet
Ebon nothingness
All hope
Must not endure
Your love is no more
How could you cause
Such hurt?
Our dark emotions
Surround us, crying,
We have lost our way...
