Other's say she represents the true church, as opposed to the scarlet women who represents the false church riding the beast. But most believe the woman in Revelation 17 does represent a great false church who will guide this beast. Now lets read Revelation 17:1-12.

I wanted to shine another point of view on this woman(lady) in revelations, please open your mind that this woman is a real woman, living through these things in a human related way while being moved and protected within the Holy Spirit..and the spirit of the beast and dragon coming to this woman to do all this harm
(is-real)its all real-and happening to a lady who is on this earth
right now- God has made her an esymblem(if its not a word you
find in the dictionary its because this word came straight from
our Holy Fathers mouth to me during the many times of being
caught up with him in the Holy protective cloud of heaven that
comes down to guide, teach, and get me through..the truth is
its really a happening, God will use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, and all along it-is~real What's happening in the spiritual realm actually has been happening to a lady and her children by two men, carrying it out for the act, no one ever considers this..yet its written very simple, hallelujah!!God is GOOD
let us now pray in JESUS mighty name, Dear Holy Father, GOD
in heaven, and Holy Spirit, our wondrous and all wise HolyTrinity
In unity we pray asking for the wisdom and the courage to stand
in this day, we ask for your Ultimate protection and discernment
We ask for the healing of your people and our lands, as we humble ourselves knowing that we are turned from our wicked ways coming to your holy throne, Bring the truth now into your Holy care and let
us only walk in the ways of your will dear God, let us be patient
and prosperous, let us set up those things we should and tear down those things you would, only your will be done, your grace
is sufficient for me and in unity we have come to the place now-
we give thanks and we give praise and we ask for the days of
destruction on earth to be shortened for your elects sake and
for the children of love..with pure hearts now, God be with us
we ask this in the name of JESUS now, Wisdom pour out upon
your elect now, send your Power, we are not worthy of this
marvelous saving Grace, we shall receive it, to do your will Father
