 The Unfairness Of Angels

Fishing

Throughout my life I have been surrounded by fishing
Wishing I hadn't is wishful thinking
My two brothers were hooked on the sport
Around the dinner table tales of massive fish they almost caught
Our house would stink of the days fishing
Whilst I told them about my day and what they were missing
As they sat for hours by lake in the pouring rain
I had come back from a great football game
They would tell me they didn't care
As they would fish in any weather anywhere
I liked other sports myself
Although I had no trophies on my shelf
Whereas they had loads, like biggest carp or best match
Mum said they should have one for most exaggerated catch
But all these trophies doesn't compensate for the horrible smell
And constant fishing chats that my life hell
But to be fair it made my brother close and made them smile
So I guess I can handle fishing being around for a little while
