Its Magic
I was captured by a smile
across a room one night
The moment that I saw you
it was love at first sight
Birds were suddenly singing
the bees were all a buzz
I'm trying to explain
just how magical it was
For Cupid shot his arrow
it found me in the dark
Was this love meant to be
or just some silly lark
Butterflies were fluttering
made my knees grow weak
Had me so tongue tied
I could barely speak
Now fifty years later
all this still rings true
I'll never tire of saying
how much I love you
