Me and the Sea ==COPYRIGHT ©Ryan FMe and the Sea How my life seems to be So untouched and free When I look upon the sea For the waves that brush against my feet And the sun's pounding heat The grass, a lothing seat My life, so distubed at home No wheres to go no wheres to roam Bruises how they sting But the water seems to sing All my pain goes away And my tears, how alike the water So when they meet My worries are stolen from me Oh, how I love the beuaty of the sea Unlike me, It is huge and gentle How good it feels to have had a days cry And then feel the water try To make me cheerful And how good it feels to notice That the water did And then as day turns to dusk I know it said "Tomorrow you and me, Well run away and flee." For the water, unlike them, is nice So I took it's advice... How my life seems to be So untouched and free When I look upon the sea For the waves that brush against my feet And the sun's pounding heat The grass, a lothing seat -Ryan F Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
